THE FUTURE OF POLYCARBONATE
Our cases are made of polycarbonate which is a polymer material that has many advantages. It is lightweight, durable, elastic, does not crack easily, flexes under stress and retains all these qualities in a very wide temperature range - from -40 ° C to + 125 ° C. But, despite such an impressive list of positive qualities, many consumers are still primarily interested in whether polycarbonate is harmful to the environment and human health?
Polycarbonate is non-toxic - Due to the fact that the composition does not contain heavy metals and hazardous compounds, even with strong heating, polymers of this type do not emit toxic substances.
Polycarbonate is used in the food and medical industries. It is used in the manufacture of kitchen appliances (coffee makers, juicers), dishes, vessels for blood transfusion and even dentures.
Among other things, it is not only absolutely harmless and non-toxic, but also capable of increasing safety. This material is characterized by increased fire resistance and does not burn at all (it only melts slowly), which means that products made from it are able to minimize losses in case of fire.

There is on-going scientific research about organic and sustainable replacement options. We are still many years away from mass production and new manufacturing processes but these potential improvements could see polycarbonate become 100% green and an even more desirable plastic moving forward.
